↑如上图红圈所示，不知道你注意到没有，737NG左后厕所过道旁有一个应急灯，这个灯有什么用呢……
对于飞机上的应急设备，很多问题都是乘务员检查发现的。咱们确实不如乘务员检查的仔细，平时还是要多注意检查。
本次总结下应急出口标识部分。
1. 事件背景
某737NG飞机，短停乘务员微信群反映应急出口侧壁板上EXIT标识的5个灯泡里有一个灯泡不亮。
在家刚好看到了，我就提醒了一下，之前咱们出现过类似问题直接换灯泡，导致应急电池组件保险烧了，5个灯都不亮，最后换电池组件，造成延误的。
建议航线短停先按MEL办理保留，航后时间够了再排故。
结果办理保留才发现，MEL改版后保留不了： ↑ A.和注明显冲突的
MEL里为什么会突然多这么一个备注呢？
2. 原因分析
以前也碰到MMEL翻译错误，所以赶紧找原版的MMEL看了一下：
上图中红框里的NOTE： If the following restrictions are not met, there is no relief for the entire Boeing-installed standard or colored photoluminescent system. All sections of the photoluminescent strips and all five lamps in the exit identifiers at all exits are required to be operational for dispatch. 如果不满足下列限制条件，整个波音安装的标准或彩色荧光条系统将不允许办理保留。全部荧光条段和所有出口处出口标识的所有五个灯都需要工作正常才能放行。
PS：All sections of the photoluminescent strips and all five lamps in the exit identifiers at all exits are required to be operational for dispatch.在我们的MEL里翻译成了「在所有出口处，所有荧光条段和所有 出口指示灯的5个灯泡都必须工作正常 ，飞机才可以放行 。」，我理解的这句话的意思应该是「所有荧光条段和在所有出口处所有出口指示灯的5个灯泡都必须工作正常，飞机才可放行。」明白了，这个注的目的，不难理解，「at all exits」 限定的是出口指示灯，而不是限定「All sections of the photoluminescent strips」。因为荧光条系统包括所有地板荧光条段和在所有出口的出口标识。
1）No proximity light(s) allowed on forward left hand and/or right hand monument(s). 2）Photoluminescent strips must terminate at forward face of forward left hand closet or galley. 3）Photoluminescent strips must terminate at or forward of aft face of windscreen/stowage if present. 4）No breaks in photoluminescent exit path allowed and/or large joggles in forward area near door 1. 5）Gap between forward left hand monument (stand alone windscreen/stowage only) and seats cannot exceed 39 inches (distance measured from aft face of monument to seat stud); no restriction if forward left hand monument is not a windscreen/stowage unit (i.e. galley, closet, etc...) 6）Gap between forward right hand monument and seats cannot exceed 41 inches (distance measured from aft face of monument to seat stud).
其实不难理解，这个NOTE的意思是，如果不满足后面的6条要求，整个荧光条系统不允许有推迟修复，都必须正常才能放行飞机。而整个荧光条系统包括地板荧光条段和出口标识。
而这6条要求其实就是飞机的工程构型。如果不满足构型，整个荧光条系统都不能保留，这条MEL就是多余的。反过来说，既然有MEL33-19-02，就说明我们的飞机构型是满足要求的。
其实当前中联航机队安装的都是波音标准彩色荧光条系统，所以构型上是符合要求，后来给工程讨论了半天，说服不了。后面给波音发了SR咨询：
SR 3-4398038221 Q&AMy understanding is that the note and its followed steps 1) through 6) are the engineering configuration of aircraft.If we have assessed that fleet aircraft meets this configuration when we write our own MEL, we should remove this NOTE from our own MEL to avoid maintenance personnel checking whether the aircraft meets this NOTE when releasing the aircraft based on this MEL.If an aircraft does not meet this NOTE( its followed steps 1) through 6)), the applicability of MEL 33-19-02 should not include this aircraft.
Am I right? China Eastern Airlines' is correct and may modify their company MEL accordingly with the approval of their local regulatory authority.
Maintenance and Operations Notes contained in the Boeing DDG are advisory in nature and should not be considered as required Maintenance or Operations procedures. Notes provide additional information for crewmember or maintenance consideration. Notes are used to identify applicable material, which is intended to assist with compliance, but do not relieve the aircraft operator of the responsibility for compliance with all applicable requirements. Additional notes may be amended, deleted, or added to the MEL by the aircraft operator, as appropriate. Notes are not a part of the provisos.
所以应该是当前翻译MLE时理解错了。其实这里MEL要求和以前一样的：侧壁上出口指示灯上的五个灯泡中必须有3个是工作正常的。
另外，需要说明的是，左后厕所外部过道的这个应急灯也是算作「侧壁上出口指示灯」▼
此灯的作用是出口通道延申，并作为紧急情况下乘客寻找出口的信号灯。所以它也是属于荧光条系统的，并可按MEL 33-19-02，5个灯泡最多允许2个灯泡不亮。
SR 4-4380416558 Q&AChina Eastern Airlines asked the following questions related to an a emergency light on left aft LAV D.
Q1: What is the function of this light? Q2: Must all five lamps of this light operate to dispatch the aircraft? A1: This light, which is depicted in the Ref /D/ Airplane Illustrated Parts Catalog (AIPC) excerpt, is part of the emergency lighting system. The purpose of this light is to extend the egress path and act as a beacon for passengers seeking an exit in case of emergency.
A2: The light falls under the sidewall exit indicator lights currently covered in the Ref /C/ 737CL/NG DDG/MMEL Item 33-19-02. For photoluminescent escape path systems, for the sidewall exit indicator lights 3 lamps must be operational. Therefore 2 lamps out of 5 may be inoperative for MEL dispatch.
补充说明：
1. 如果是天花板上的EXIT LOCATOR SIGN灯（20个灯泡），还有门上的OVERDOOR EXIT SIGN灯（18个灯泡），这些应急灯（包括下图红圈中的 "down lights"）是不允许任一灯泡失效的：（参考SR 3-3945422800） ↑除EXIT灯罩里的灯以外，下部左右两边也是应急灯，中间乘务员呼叫灯除外。
2. 翼上出口应急门处的出口标识灯罩，由于位置比较靠下，很容易被旅客误触碰，导致损坏或脱落。

灯罩脱落以后，飞机是无法放行的。可以临时固定住，但要确保灯罩上的文字不能有遮盖。平时也要特别注意这个位置的检查。
3. 灯罩构型差异
最后提醒下出口标识灯罩，每个位置灯罩上的字/箭头有不一样的要求，所以件号是不一样的。之前也发现过装错灯罩的问题： ↑灯罩安装错误，登机门处正确的灯罩是有字无箭头
下面是安装正确灯罩的图片。
① 左后厕所外部过道： ↑左后厕所外部过道：无字无箭头。

② 翼上逃生门处： ↑应急门处：有字有箭头。注意前后左右不一样，箭头方向都要指向门。

③ 登机门/勤务门处： ↑登机门/勤务门处：有字无箭头。

最后特别提醒： 不同飞机EXIT灯罩标识样式可能会不同，件号仅供参考，使用前请核对IPC有效性。
关于应急灯部分的理解，之前也是给波音发了很多SR咨询，本次总结下出口标识部分，万一平时碰到了，也知道放行依据。
